For the Rome stage of Parallel Borders Silvia Giambrone proposes L'Appuntamento, a double hangman's noose, illicitly hung from an overhead city fitting in Rome's central Monti district.

Silvia Giambrone is co-founder of 23cc artist space in Rome, Silvia Giambrone graduated with a Masters degree in Advanced Technology of Interactive Communication at Tor Vergata University, Rome. Giambrone has partaken in a number of residencies and workshops between Italy and Poland during 2009-2011 including the Palazzo Riso Museum, a regional contemporary art museum in Palermo. In 2006, Giambrone has been awarded the Young Art Award of the Agnelli Foundation, Turin and the Epson Prize in 2009, Venice. Recent and forthcoming solo shows include L’impero libero degli schiavi with Galleria Doppelgaenger in Bari, Italy.
